TERRACESS increases reliability of organic-based friction material
by the chemical decomposition of organic material on friction surface.
Impact in Friction Material
Friction is stabilized with TERRACESS by keeping the friction surface stable.
TERRACESS decreases friction force at low temperature by the decomposition. At high temperature, friction force is maintained in the same level by TERRACESS.
With TERRACESS
TERRACESS strongly decomposes organic material on the friction surface. Inorganic transfer film on the rotor is created. It improves μ stability and pad wear.
Without TERRACESS
Organic material is not strongly decomposed without TERRACESS. Organic transfer film on the rotor is created. As the result, μ gets instable and pad wear increases at high temperature.
